    Wait for the connected state and do not run two VPNs at once.

  2. Open YouTube

    Try a known public video in the app and browser.

  3. Check the quality

    Start at a lower resolution and check whether the video plays without stopping.

As a guide, YouTube lists about 2.5 Mbps for 720p, 5 Mbps for 1080p, and 20 Mbps for 4K. Actual quality also depends on the route and connection stability. YouTube Help.

If the video does not play

  • Check the browser, app, account sign-in, DNS, and extensions.
  • If video buffers through DiveVPN, try another Russian server if one is available. Buffering alone does not prove that a server is overloaded.
  • Compare the result on another network and use official YouTube or provider support.
