AmneziaVPN is unavailable in the Russian App Store. Amnezia Free requires AmneziaVPN. If the app is unavailable in your store, follow the official guide to install it from another App Store region. DefaultVPN is available in the Russian store, but it requires a connection key and has a different feature set.
On the Amnezia website, open Downloads and choose iOS to open the app’s App Store page.
Amnezia Free Europe on iPhone
- Install the appropriate app
If AmneziaVPN is not listed in your App Store, check your account region and Apple’s requirements for changing it. Use DefaultVPN only if you have a compatible key and instructions from the service.
- Create the Free connection
Disconnect any other VPN, open AmneziaVPN, and tap “Let’s get started” or “+”. Select “VPN by Amnezia”, wait for it to load, choose the available Free region, such as Europe, and tap Connect.
- Allow the iOS VPN configuration
Accept the system prompt only after you started the connection in the app. If it appears unexpectedly, cancel it.
If the iPhone does not connect
- If AmneziaVPN connects but websites do not load, open the connection, tap the gear, choose “Reload API config”, and then “Continue”.
- If Free fails only on mobile data, check whether your carrier is applying mobile-network restrictions.
- DefaultVPN requires a connection key and differs from AmneziaVPN: it does not include split tunneling, subscription management or self-hosted features.
Geodema on iPhone
Open the iOS instructions in the Geodema dashboard. Install the app named there and import the configuration in the required format.
